Rohan knight – he has brunette hair, piercing hazel eyes and a muscular build, he is calm and level headed in times of making decision and cares a lot about his family and friends. He is one of the main characters as Avilla's mate, Camilla's brother and ben's best friend. He has been training to become the best warrior in his pack and has worked hard to achieve that.
Camilla knight- she is a pretty brunette with long legs and a gorgeous body, she is Rohan's sister and the mate of the human boy Mitchell, she is going to fight alongside Rohan to banish the law saying werewolves cannot mate with humans.
Avilla Stevenson – her black hair is the first thing that people notices, her eyes are a sparkling grey and she has a body that tempts every one that sees her. She is the new girl that arrived and caused confusion in Rohan's life, she lives with her aunt and is extremely shy. She is an ordinary human who turns out to be something much more.
Benjamin menzel- he is Rohan's best friend who tried to steal his mate from him because he is jealous of Rohan and secretly in love with Avilla.
Mr. and Mrs. knight- Rohan and Camilla's parents
Alpha Dickson- he is the alpha of the stronghold pack, extremely strong and powerful but he is archaic in his ways to mend the law.
Mitchell Rolando- he is the human mate of Camilla, he feels a strong pull towards her but is confused on how to handle such emotions.
Stronghold pack- the second most dangerous pack in the lycans kingdom
Melissa Dorian- is the queen bitch in high school that makes life miserable for everyone, she is your typical blonde girl with blue eyes.
Kenneth Norway- he is the jock in school that gets on ben's nerves by stealing his girlfriends.
It started with Rohan finishing the yearly race in his pack and coming first, they went out for a little celebration between the three of them mainly because Camilla wanted to see her mate but Rohan appeared late making Camilla mad at him and promising to get back at him. Her chance came when she tattled to ben that Rohan hates helping him solve his girl problems, which prompted a mini fight between the two. They patched it up when Rohan explained to ben that he was always doing the opposite of whatever he tells him to do making the problem get worse and later turns round to blame him.
Ben was pretty upset because his girlfriend, Melissa was talking to another boy and according to Camilla, she was already sleeping with Kenneth during the time ben was stuck training for the race. He was close to swearing off females and waiting for his mate but he got interrupted when the most beautiful girl came into the café…
Rohan felt the attraction sizzling from across the room but he was too tranced to say anything to his friends, he was too busy ogling the girl to pay attention to what ben was babbling about, he couldn't believe he had a human as a mate but furthermore he could not believe ben called dibs on his girl, he tried so hard to fight the attraction to this human girl but he it didn't work especially when his sister Camilla was having the same problem, the law was preventing them of being with their mate.
Camilla opened up to Rohan after she saw that he was having the same problem as her because she noticed the pull between her brother and the human and she knows the only way he could fight for her was knowing that his sister was in the same dilemma. They talked on the way home to the pack and looked for ways to avoid telling their parents, the choice came down to either telling them or going for a run and they chose the latter. The went to their favorite place since they were kids and Rohan was reminded that no matter how capable Camilla is in handling herself, he was going to make sure his baby sister was happy.
Avilla has tried her best to talk to the cute boy she saw at the coffee shop the other day but he keeps blowing her off like he doesn't even notice her but his best friend the goofy one always seem to be ogling her each time she passes which was very creepy but she figured if she could get close to ben then she could slip into Rohan's life. She wanted to find more about the pull she felt for him but ben seems to be falling in love with his best friend's mate when he was aware of the mate bond. While Rohan searches for a means to be with his mate, ben on the other hand tries to sabotage the process because he wants Avilla all to himself.
Avilla tries to explain to ben that they were just friends and she has always wanted Rohan, while Rohan decides to be happy even though the law forbids it, he starts hanging out with Avilla and slowly she creeps into his heart, deep enough to make him reveal the real him. He was expecting her to be scared and run far away from him but it only seems to draw her close like she has always been part of the supernatural world. It was a relief that she was open minded about him but he still didn't tell her the truth about their love.
