Aren is a guard and hunter in the dying city of Hayem. Due to the harshness of life, his only goal is to survive amidst the ruins left behind by a war that occurred a century ago.
Aren had long accepted his fate: to live in poverty and die in obscurity. However, everything changed when he met a mysterious young woman with an odd obsession with milk, who claimed to have slept for a hundred years—dating back to before the war began.
After a night filled with drunken promises to "fix this ugly world," Aren awoke to find himself in the past, sent there as the savior of Zeron. He realized that a Prime Spirit had brought him a century back in time. Now, to save the future, he must find and suppress the legends who destroyed everything he once knew: the Seven Warriors of Destruction.
Possessing the power to manipulate time, Aren attempts to save each fated "destroyer" from the tragedies that would otherwise push them to choose the wrong path and join the Black Scorpion.
As he strives to help them, he grows close to each of these women, and they in turn develop deep feelings for him. Unfortunately, it seems that destiny itself is conspiring against his mission. Every attempt he makes to save these women—who have become such a vital part of his life—only leads to their death and suffering. These tragedies are the very catalysts that force them to embrace the dark path ordained by fate, ultimately bringing about the very history that Aren is desperately trying to change.
