The story is a unique blend of romance with intrigue and drama. Set in a mythical world with young adults as the main protagonists. Tropes such as enemies to lovers, revenge gone wrong and forced proximity have been employed to further the sexual and romantic chemistry between the main characters. Use of other antagonists such as the male lead's mom and the female lead's paternal family push the plot further and assist in unraveling the truth that drives the female lead's passion for revenge.

The world-building is unique and intentionally done, drawing it's inspiration from diverse supernatural bloodlines including Mer, Fae, Lycan, and Demon clans to create a social hierarchy that feels realistic and politically charged. The academy setting amplifies every conflict, pushing the characters together in a way that makes tension unavoidable and the intimacy inevitable.
