I don’t get the hate for Axel. He lost his family and only his sister and aunt returned. He’s carrying LOTS of trauma too. Violet was definitely trying to manipulate him in the beginning for her “parents” that STILL wanted to kill him so she’s not totally innocent. Both are equally traumatized but somehow made it.

if there was one Male lead that didn't deserve a happy ending, then it was Axel. Violet would be better off without such An abusive partner... I would've written a different ending, where Axel is left with nothing... just like he deserves
