Interesting story! I wonder if their connection has something to do with the supernatural. If not, I’m not entirely convinced their relationship makes sense, as things went from zero to 100 in a matter of moments.

Just a warning for new readers, this is more of a political drama than anything. Lots of meetings and investigations. I love it, but I know that's not everyone's jam.

Life has approximately four perfect things in it. One of them is Cake With Fresh Strawberries. Another of them is Running Errands And Getting Yourself A Little Treat. The third one is Going To A Body Of Water On A Hot Day And Swimming Until You're Very Tired And Then Air-Drying In The Sun

08/23/2026 02:36Visitor
its a good story and the writer has talent, but its sad this is what the publishing world has become. a good editor would have tightened tbe writing and made it half as long and twice as addictive. instead writers have to use apps that encourage them to keep stories hanging for longer just so we watch more ads.
08/22/2026 11:39Visitor
so far loving this story. loving the relationship that’s being built with all the characters. can’t wait to see what else happens.
