This was a good book. I read it quite some time ago, I was actually looking for a different book that I'd stumbled across with a similar intro and pretext, but stuck with it and it certainly went down an unexpected story arc. I would recommend it.

⚠️ ⬇️ 🤫 Chapter 27 & 28 Gabriel needs to follow his instincts, if he thinks something is not a good idea, he should listen to that feeling. He also should have asked Mrs. Garcia about Suzie's father since it was a point of conflict between her and her daughter. That seemed like it would have been an important line of questioning considering why he's there in the first place.
