I'm Sheridan Wesley. I'm eleven years old. I've always lived with my dad. He's the only person I've got. He loves me and I love him too. But soon our lives changed. Mine especially.
It was a sunny day in Blueville, a rural small town not far away from Tennessee. The kind of place where everyone knew everyone. My dad was one of the most popular and well-liked people of Blueville. He owned vast land and a big ranch.
I always loved working with him. I loved the farm life. I knew how to ride horses, milk cows, make butter, plant seeds and harvest crops. I was well loved by all my dad's employees and well known too by the people of the town. I was the little boy who always gave a helping hand.

He was a young and intelligent 22yr old man who had recently gotten his masters, a few years after he'd graduated from college. Oh, he sure had attended the best schools. He'd attended highschool in a prestigious school in Istanbul, and had gotten his first degree in Dubai. As well as his masters. He was quite educationally accomplished at such a young age. One thing that made his parents very proud.
The only thing, that made his parents proud.

"This whole story is one tough mess for me. Honestly. It's about my life. How it changed because of one human being. I'm Shayenne Harvey. I'm twenty and I recently graduated from university. My fiancé is thirty.
Believe it or not, I was forcefully betrothed to him from birth. My hand had been promised to him and his family, even before I could say a single word.
The thing is, I'm a girl from a wealthy family. The Harveys have always been close to the Nelson family. My family and theirs appreciated each other so much that they decided to get me betrothed to their son, Josh, that was ten years older than me. I had no say in this . I was forced to live with him after I graduated. And then a lot happened."
