Chapter 6 Chapter 6

ALPHA ANDREW

After mating with the beautiful woman, I wasn't expecting her to collapse on the bed. But she took my rut.

My body hadn't felt this good before. I watched her sleeping on the bed.

My eyes darted to her neck, where I had placed my mark on her.

"Oh no! What came over me?" I gasped in the dimly lit room.

In the midst of my sinful glee, I had marked her. My lips still tasted the soft feel of her skin, so soft and soothing to my touch, calming my body.

My cum had been a lot, and now I felt restless, wondering if she would take care of my discharge.

"You shouldn't have mated with her and marked her! She is a human! She cannot be your mate!" Zion growled at the back of my head, his mood enraged.

Ignoring my wolf, my hands gently positioned the woman to sleep peacefully on the bed.

I would be leaving before dawn. How do I make her payment? My mind raced as I peered at her face.

"You should leave the check for her where you think she can find it," Zion replied, despite his gloomy mood.

"A human woman cannot be your mate. Get it, Alpha. The pack will not accept her. You know this is more like a death sentence for her if you bring her over," Zion seethed, knowing the implications.

"Got it." I calmly lay back on the bed next to the sleeping woman. Her breathing was soft against my ears. My eyes watched the rise and fall of her chest as I lay next to her. Her citrus scent was welcoming to my restless heart. A heart without a mate.

Why can't she be mine? Her body was so wonderful. And her womanhood was pleasing.

The rain slowed, and I knew that I would soon resume my journey.

"Alpha, what time are we leaving?" Steven mind-linked me.

"By 3 a.m. I do not feel the need to go. I want to be in the arms of the woman," I replied, my tone laced with selfishness.

"Alpha, you know that's impossible. A human woman cannot be your mate. How is she? Was she able to take your rut?" Steven inquired, his voice thick with worry for the sleeping beauty next to me.

"How can she not be able to take my rut? It was like my cọck was specially created for her," I replied, my lips curving into a smile as my cọck hardened against the thin fabric of the quilt.

"Thank the moon goddess that you didn't commit murder. I was worried for a heartbeat, thinking she had already been murdered to death by your cọck," Steven replied, his tone relaxing, his breathing calming.

"Fụck off, Steven. How can my cọck commit murder? It's fine. Inform the men to get prepared. We are leaving by 3am. This is just midnight. So enjoy your three hours of sleep and don't worry about your Alpha committing murder," I mind-linked him, and he chuckled.

"Got it, Alpha. Sleep tight," Steven said before the mind link ended.

In the dimly lit room, my eyes wandered around the sleeping woman's face. My lips ached to taste her soft rosy lips beckoning me to taste them.

Shaking my head to snap out of relishing those sinful thoughts, the harsh ringing tone jolted me awake.

Hearing a different ringing tone, my mind raced, believing it was the woman's phone.

I shouldn't pry into her life, but I moved out of the bed, careful enough not to wake her. She stirred on the bed as my weight lifted.

When I reached for her black handbag on the table, her citrus scent welcomed me once more, and I dipped my hand into the open zip, wondering what I would find.

Will I find anything unthinkable in her bag? She was a human, and I'd learn most women move about with makeup.

When I dipped my right hand into her bag, I pulled out the Android phone and saw 9 missed calls.

As I wanted to end the call, it rang again, and I assumed it was something urgent.

Who could be calling her at this late hour of the night? I pondered.

The caller was unknown. No name. Just a few digits.

Not wanting to pry into her affair, I switched off the phone, tossed it into her bag, and moved to the bathroom to freshen up.

The more I inhaled her citrus scent, the more I didn't want to part from her. Why do I feel this way? The uneasiness in my chest felt like I was parting from my mate.

When I got back to the room, I began to dress. As I wore my black clothes back, I glanced around the small room. I had a long trip, especially after shopping for all the essentials that my pack members needed.

The goods had all been transported, as the human ruler preferred I arrived to seal the business. He had a growing suspicion that we were not really humans. Their drones had spotted wolves in my pack. But I tried to build more magical barriers to protect my pack.

Now, with digital products and the use of AI, it was easy to fool the humans into believing the video evidence circulating online were only mere fantasy and not real-life scenarios.

There was no way that I would admit to the reality of my people. But I had to travel with my men to ensure the humans remained in the dark about the existence of werewolves.

Once I was done wearing my clothes, I drew my checkbook and wrote a check of 3 million for the lovely woman.

"I won't be here until you awake, pretty," I said to her, watching her sleep like a baby. Her long hair sprawled on the bed, and some strands covered her pretty face.

Standing up from the chair, I put the check under her hand, in case anyone came into the room after my departure.

Taking one last glance at her sleeping face, I lay on the bed next to her and drifted to sleep for a short nap.

A few minutes later, my eyes fluttered awake, welcoming the sight of the room.

My eyes darted to stare at the sleeping beauty. She lay on her side, her back turned to me.

Rising from the bed, I searched for the check and knew that she would lose it before morning.

How could she sleep carelessly? My hand reached for the check under her breast, and I picked it, moved out of the bed, and put it in her bag.

"Alpha, are you awake? Our men are ready to leave," Steven mind-linked me.

"Got it. I am set," I replied coolly, my eyes darting to the sleeping figure. She snored slowly, her features trembling on the bed from the cold that blew against her skin.

I moved to shut the window panes and watched her hand pull the sheet to cover herself.

Even though she was asleep, she slept like she was in her abode.

Shaking my head, I put on my black boots and threw on my black coat. Then I exited the room and met the hotel manager in the hallway.
