I like what I am reading so far. I hope that the heroine gets a happy ending. Didn’t like how Tristian treated her right after they had sex. His rejection of her was cruel and the catalyst for her running to England.

judgements reflected by author's choice of words getting on my nerves already. THINKING about someone you aren'tt related to, find physically attractive, have been emotionally & physically intimate with in the past is NOT ACTING LIKE A SLUT! This story, like many others in the genre, explores complicated feelings/attraction between 2 people who already feel like family. It's messy but hardly a scandal. Main character is already a DV & miscarriage survivor & orphan with low self esteem - ENOUGH!

she's just got of a long haul flight with one suitcase, and the writer puts her on a bike with her long lost love. what does she do with the suitcase. leave it on the kerb? put it in a locker? what? there is dramatic licence and then there is lazy plotting. think this is going to be a dnf for me
