Chapter 2 Unknown Fate
Lana's POV.
I was about to resume pleading, but my head was covered instantly with a bag, and the dark night became even darker as I couldn't see anything. The only thing I knew was that I was being made to walk in a direction I still didn't know.
About a minute later I was pushed into what felt like a small tight box, and I heard the door lock from the outside. I was still trying to figure out what it was until I heard the horses moving and this box beginning to move. It was a cart, a prisoner cart. They were taking me away.
I knew right then that screaming was not going to help me; there was no point trying. I thought about my uncle; I saw a few people lying there on the floor, and I feared what must have happened to him.
I didn't calculate how long it took, but when the cart suddenly stopped moving, I felt the fear in me rise to its peak.
Where am I? What would happen to me now?
I was pulled out of the cart again with the bag still over my head as they dropped me and started dragging me in an unknown direction. I began to shiver when I heard sounds of drums, the voices of people in merriment.
Am I going to be made a burnt offering to their gods?
Just then, the bag was pulled off from my head, and the sight around me made me quake. There were so many wolves in their human forms gathered around a very big fireball, their smell intoxicating. They were doing all sorts of things: dancing, drinking and kissing, and I even caught sight of two making love unconcerned.
The wolf dragging me had a helmet over his face, and the only thing I could see was his eyes. There was armour all over his body as the fireball brightened up the whole space so that I could clearly see everyone and what they wore.
I was about to ask where he was taking me when he opened the curtains to a tent and pushed me inside.
For about three seconds, I was trying to understand where I was, but immediately I set eyes on the wolves inside the tent, and my eyes widened.
Back at my home pack, a popular artist painted the pictures of the twin sons and heirs of the MoonBlood Kingdom, but right now in front of me they stood so much more alive, staring at the frozen me.
"Come here, little beauty; come and keep us entertained." One of them said to me.
I didn't know their names, but I knew for sure that he was one of the alpha heirs on Hassan's painting, known to be deadly and merciless.
I didn't understand what he meant by me keeping them entertained, so I stood there staring at them without moving an inch.
I noticed the expression on that one's face begin to darken, and just like a flash, he stood up in rage and grabbed me by my arm.
"Damian, take it easy with her. I'm sure the little fish is startled by our presence."
The other one, who looked very identical to the one holding me except for the little scar on the side of his right eye, which looked almost like a face decoration as it seemed to sit perfectly on his face, said to this one in a calm voice.
"Why would she feel terrified of us, Liam? Isn't it her job to entertain us?" The one holding me asked as he suddenly freed my arms, making me stagger backward two paces.
"No, I'm not sure I've seen this face before. She seems new; we may have to show her," the other one said as he stood up straight from the table where he was leaning the whole time and began to approach me slowly.
I couldn't move; I wanted to run away, but I couldn't raise my leg. What were they going to show me?
"Hi, I am Liam, and that's my brother, Damian. He can be really short-tempered sometimes," the second brother, Liam, said to me. Our eyes met, and I let out a short breath of relief.
At least someone was finally talking to me like I was a being and not an animal caught in a trap.
The whole time as he spoke, I nodded my head slowly. So many thoughts were running through my mind, and my heart was beating too fast.
"Come have a drink with us," he said as he pointed to the table ahead of us.
He didn't ask to know my name; he didn't seem to care about that, but how did he know that I was new for whatever I was supposed to do there with them?
I dragged my tired feet to the table as I slowly took a seat before the both of them, and a few other tough-looking males sat around the table with us.
I listened in silence as they drank and chatted about their conquest and the various packs where they had raided, talking about if they were going to war or not.
They drank a whole bucket of gin in front of me, so much that the other men were all drunken but these two; they seemed unshaken by the amount of gin they consumed.
"Hey girl, take off your clothes." Damian commanded me, but I turned my gaze to Liam instead as if waiting for him to counter his brother's command.
When I noticed that he wasn't looking in my direction, I stood up slowly from the chair, stepping three paces away from it.
I hesitated, but just then he stood from his chair, his huge frame standing so tall before me, and without thinking, I began to pull down my dress off my shoulder.
Just when the dress moved down my shoulder, my dull white dress went falling to the ground. That was my mother's wedding dress, and I was supposed to be mated to my pack's Beta that night.
"Nice, I like it," Damian said with his gaze fixed on my body, staring at me in my underwear.
"Take the rest off, everything," he commanded again.
My hands shivered as I held onto the strap of my white bra, slowly sliding it down my shoulder with my eyes shut. Just before it would go down my shoulder completely, I felt a hand touch me from behind. It was thick and masculine, and I tightened my eyes even more.
I thought he was going to rip my underwear off, but instead he raised the bra strap again, placing it back on my shoulder.
"Don't you think it'll be fun if we do this slowly, Damian?" Liam's voices echoed into my ear, and that was when I realised that whatever they were going to do to me, it was not just going to be one of them.
