CHAPTER 6
VALERIA POV
I left the room angrily, my eyes burning with anger as I walked toward the dressing room. Since there were no other strippers present in the room except Beatrice and Eleanor, I took off my heels and my mask.
“What happened to your face Val?” Beatrice asked the moment she saw my face without the mask.
“He riled me up C’mon. Who does he even think he is?” I said out aloud, frustration evident in my voice.
Beatrice walked toward me and observed my face. “Your client?” Eleanor asked and Beatrice had a small smile on her lips, watching me with curiosity.
Of course, I have never gotten angry because of a client but there was just something about X. I just didn't like the fact that he saw me as a whore.
Beatrice gave me a weird look before taking my hand. "I was told he is hot," She said and I scoffed in anger.
Who even told them that when no one had seen his face? The psychopath always wears this annoying silver mask which only made me suspect him more.
"If I tell you what he asked me to do, you won't call him hot," I replied Beatrice and continued. "He is sex deprived which probably led to his anger," I said and wiped off my makeup, looking at my reflection in the mirror.
"Wait. Don't tell me he asked you to..." Eleanor couldn't complete her statement as she looked at me with shock.
Took them long enough to realize I wasn’t joking.
"I thought they said he hardly let people touch him though he has been here twice," Beatrice said but all I could do was roll my eyes
He doesn't like to touch my feet.
All clients are the same and he is no different.
"But did you touch him?" Eleanor asked the obvious question.
"I did but he was supposed to resist me as the rumour said. Isn't it?" I asked them and they both smiled.
Narrowing my eyes at them, Eleanor cleared her throat and spoke First. "And you should know most of them couldn't resist you." She said and I know she was right.
"I mean, you are screaming beauty all over with that killer shape and you expect him not to act like a horny bastard," Eleanor said, almost like a compliment and I let out a frustrated sigh.
"They don't even realize you are putting on skin which also made me wonder if the top clients are actually Alphas like the boss claimed they are," Beatrice said and removed my blonde hair with the mascara applied on my lashes.
"He is not worth my time when I know I will be packing a few million soon," I said and looked at them with my hand resting on my waist, my back pressed against the wall.
"Wait. Did you just say millions?" Eleanor asked, putting down her phone. "
What happened? And congratulations on getting engaged to the Lycan king. This is what your parents want, after all and I am happy for you." Beatrice congratulated me and I gave her a warm smile.
I walked towards the closet and took out my clothes. "Thank you, Beatrice. And talking about the millions, the Lycan king hates me just like I did." I said and took off the skin I was wearing before putting on a fresh cloth.
"What do you mean by that?" Eleanor asked, her voice filled with concern.
"We are to get married as the elders wanted but there will be no mate bond between us," I said and adjusted my dress..
Beatrice came to my side and zipped up the dress from the back.
"I don't understand. So you guys aren't even planning to..." Eleanor said, her words trailed off as I butt in.
"No. He is not going to mark me since we aren't fated mates." I said and sat on the chair.
"Thank goodness because I have been thinking that it will reveal your identity. No one must know about you until you discover the truth." Eleanor said and I nodded my head.
She is right because lycans are said to be far stronger than werewolves and they are sensitive.
"Which is why I am thankful to my father for making this possible." I thought in my mind.
"He wants us to be in an open marriage and in exchange, he is giving me Thirty million as compensation," I told them.
"Goddess" Eleanor exclaimed as she faced me with her mouth open agape.
"You must be joking right here. Thirty million what?" She asked again.
"Well, I'm being serious in the condition that I might have to bear him a child if the elder wants," I said.
"Oh, this is crazy. Poor you. But it might eventually build a bond between you, too and he will protect you in the end." Beatrice said.
"I think I am fine with this. I have been single all my life and this is not something I am not familiar with." I said and looked at my wristwatch.
It's already past 12 a.m.
"Yes, I know, Val. And how is he?" Eleanor asked.
"What?"
"What does he look like?" They both chorus and I gave them a suspicious look.
"Who?" I asked, trying to act as if I was not aware of who they were talking about right now.
"Lycan king Xyrus of course," Beatrice answered and lowered her head to match my height. "Tell us." She probed further when she realised I wasn't going to talk.
"He is okay," I replied.
"Okay? Guess the rumors are true after all. Is he an elderly man and those side profile pictures taken are actually a lie?" Eleanor asked in a surprise tone.
"No." I denied it, my voice was a little bit high. They both look at me with confusion in their eyes.
I gritted my teeth and I tried to steady my breathing.
"He is handsome," I confess.
"Handsome?" Beatrice squealed as she jumped in my face.
"Did just say he is handsome?" She asked again and I tried to move away before she slapped my back.
Oh, my Goddess. My baby has grown up. You just called a man handsome," Beatrice said and looked at Eleanor, who shook her head slowly.
"It's not what you think!" I exclaimed and closed my eyes in frustration.
"Yes. We know. What about his height? He is tall, right?" Beatrice asked and I forgot to mention that she is the curious type.
"I need to get going because I need to sneak in before anyone is sent to my room," I said and she stopped probing further.
"Okay, I will let you go because of that. So how are you going to do that?" Beatrice asked.
"Or do you want me to come with you?" Eleanor asked.
"I will try to use my witch side to get in. I have been doing this and father and mother weren't aware." I said.
Beatrice hugged me first, then Eleanor.
"And you know you can't get caught, Val," Eleanor whispered in my ear.
"I won't" I promised her before leaving the club.
It was already past 1 when I got to the castle. The place was heavily guarded with guards including the gate.
I am still trying to discover more about my power which is why I am going to try to make them unconscious for a while.
I gripped the tree and climbed it up before jumping over the fence.
"Ouch," I let out a low cry when my knee bumped the stone on the floor.
"Who is that?" I heard someone ask a few meters away from me and my eyes widened in shock.
