Chapter 5

　　Before I could even bring myself to say anything.

　　"Good morning, you must be Naomi Steve, we heard you will be joining us today as the boss' secretary, I'm Daniel his personal assistant and it's nice to meet you Naomi", Daniel said stretching out his hands to shake me.

　　So he's not the CEO after all, "Good morning Mr. Daniel, it's nice to meet you too" I replied while scanning out the whole area.

　　''So where will i be working from for the time being?"

　　I asked, giving Mr Daniel my sweetest smile.

　　''This way'' Mr Daniel gestured to a door just adjacent from the CEO's office''...follow me'' he prompted me with a smile on his face as he walt's down the hallway, leading me to the door.

　　He opens the door wide for me to step in and gets in right behind me

　　I gasped audibly at the sight before me, the workspace was so huge, and everything looked so exquisite and expensive, the deco was beautiful, breathtaking… Wait, two desks?

　　"Yes, we will both be sharing this workspace right outside boss' office" he replied as he noticed the questioning look of confusion written on her face after I saw two working desks in the room

　　''Oh, okay' I smiled softly as I nodded my head.

　　Daniel gazed softly at my face admiring my tenderness and taking in my beauty and feminine essence

　　"Auh, that's fine by me, please do well to guide and take care of me during my time here", I beamed at Daniel sweetly

　　"Definitely... a piece of advice, just be obedient and do whatever the boss asks of you. The others before you were fired because they weren't loyal and obedient"

　　"Ok. I'll do my best. " I replied to a bit shaky, knowing exactly what I came here for.

　　"You can set up your things on that table over there, this one's mine,'' he noted playfully ''...and I'll be at the fax room to prepare some documents for the boss" he said, going over to his workspace to organize said files for the boss.

　　"Ohh! is he in already? It's not even 8am yet, I thought CEOs could come in anytime but not this early" taken aback, I thought out loudly

　　"Don't be too surprised, you will get used to it. Boss is usually the first person to resume work around here, ...uuh, and another piece advice, take your work here very seriously"

　　"Ok Mr Daniel, Thanks a lot" I answered Mr Daniel while settling down.

　　'So Mr Damon will be behind those doors, ...the innocent man I will be seducing' i sigh as i thinks to myself

　　'I think this job is going to be a lot harder than I thought it to be,...well, I actually like the work as a secretary to a multibillion dollar business company but the job of trying to seduce Mrs Stone's step son is going to be a lot harder than I imagined.' deep in thoughts, I let out another harsh sigh

　　'and it seems like Mrs stone stepson is a nice and easy-going person,...hard working too, for the love of God!! he's at work before anybody else, that's a sign of a competent boss,' I thought to herself.

　　Mr Daniel noticed her sighing up and down all over the place

　　"Do you want to take a look round the building?" he opted out while getting the papers he just printed out and puts them on his table

　　"I'd love that, but it seems like you're kind of busy and I don't want to disturb nothing", i replied swiftly

　　"Oh no. I'm done now, I'll be submitting these later in the day, so please let me show you around" he insisted

　　"Ok. That's so nice of you Mr. Daniel" she said getting up to follow him

　　''Please call me Daniel or Dan for short. '' He retorted.

　　''Okay, Dan'' She obliged hesitantly.

　　''That wasn't so hard, was it? '' he smirked playfully as he led her out of the office towards the elevator.

　　"It's a twenty-story building complex and this last floor is for the boss, his personal assistant and his secretary as you can see" Daniel said while stepping into the elevator and I followed

　　"Each floor is built specifically for different departments headed by different HOD's as the boss can't be everywhere at the same time, and the ground floor is the reception. We have the HR department, the tech department, the branding and marketing department, the sales and finance accounting department, the operation management department and the list goes on" Daniel explained to me

　　"That's a lot, I hope I get along with people here. But what exactly are my duties as the secretary? "I asked, eager to know since this was my first time working in an office space.

　　"You will be assigned duties directly from the boss, but don't worry everyone is nice and you'll be fine" Daniel reassured me with a smile.

　　"Thanks for showing me around, even if we couldn't exactly go everywhere" i giggled endearingly ''...I look forward to learning a lot from you" i finished with an innocent smile.

　　"you'll be fine. I better head back now, I need to submit those documents I worked on to the boss" he stated

　　"OH ok. I'll see you around, let me just walk around a lil' bit then I'll come back up" I replied

　　''Okay, don't take too long. '' he cautioned

　　''I won't'' she muttered silently as she turned away to continue exploring this magnificent structure she now works in.
