Chapter 6 Will alpha Gabriel accept?

Chapter 6

Kaela's POV

Though the uncertainty still lingered I had to get ready... find ways to survive this life. I took a deep breath and looked around me. 

The interior screamed perfection. Seamlessly built. 

In my past life with Steven, the room we had shared wasn't even as large as this. King-size bed, marble floor, large beautiful curtains, beautiful interiors. 

I initially thought that was in the best room in the Pack house, but compared to this... It was worthless. 

Walking around the room, I was surprised to see a personal walk-in closet filled with female clothes. They didn't look my size, but they screamed wealth. 

The bathroom was so spacious, as big as another room itself. This is not compared to the house I used to live in. 

The style, the designs, the... Everything was great. 

Wasn't this the Alpha's room? 

Seeing the perfection and class that carried this room. I couldn't help but wonder who owned it. 

Why did the Alpha choose to give me such a magnificent room? 

I wasn't expecting something like this. And within just a day he had managed to have it all prepared for me. 

I had gone into the Alpha's room before. It was large and spacious too, a room for an Alpha. But I feared this was almost on par. 

I bit my lower lip as I sat on the bed feeling the softness. I stared down at my wedding gown. 

“I'm married to the Alpha of Blue Blood pack. I'm the Luna of Blue Blood pack.”

My fingers gripped the gown. Then, I traced it up to my stomach. 

“Was I still pregnant?" 

We had rushed the wedding because of my pregnancy. Steven wanted it. I didn't stop him from preparing.

My baby. 

I had spent days imagining us; Me, him and our baby spending our lives with joy. 

An illusion I had drowned in. Leading to my demise. What would be its fate? 

Now, I left Steven. 

I rejected him... Wanting nothing to do with him but then my baby was his. 

How foolish of me? 

To think that Alpha Gabriel would accept this child. 

Did he even know I am pregnant? 

Will he accept his grandson as his own son? 

I need to keep this pregnancy a secret for as long as I can. 

Well, until I know Alpha Gabriel is safe. 

Safe from who had killed him in every life. From Steven, his own son. 

The fear I had fought came crawling back. What if he doesn't know and upon finding out, changes his mind? 

The walls I had built with today's achievement were dangling. One wrong move and everything falls. 

I need to keep this a secret. 

Alpha Gabriel was a puzzle I had to solve, and adding this pregnancy would ruin it all.

My phone kept buzzing. 

I didn't bother to pick it up. 

I knew it was my family. 

I could imagine all they would say; the threats, the lamentations and the scolding. I could bet my life that nothing they say would be actually sensible. 

"Arrgh," I hissed, putting my phone on silent before finally removing the gown. I took a look at it again... 

Then sighed. 

This life had to be different, it was my last chance and somehow I couldn't believe I chose him 4 different times.

Wasn't I supposed to realize? 

If only... I had known.

After undressing I went to the bathroom. Gently entered the tub and soaked myself in it. My shoulders relaxed as I felt peace from the cooling of the water. But my head was still buzzing with questions.

What should I do next?

The fact that I was his wife gave me power over Steven. I was now his step-mom. Then I was still the alpha's nurse and in a much closer position; his wife. 

But will Alpha Gabriel stand with me when I start my mission?

The advantage it gave was I could stay near him and watch whatever they wanted to plan. But my current state was nowhere near averting the future. 

There were many ways the Alpha could get the same fate. And I have to stop it. Meeting our ends in tragedy. 

I recall his death in my last life. 

I had called him a few minutes ago that I was coming to his room soon, but I got carried away by Steven. Then when I finally got to his room, he was dead.

I shook my head to take the thought off my mind.

I stepped out of the bath tub but honestly I wished I could stay here for a while longer. 

I felt refreshed. It was the best bath I had in ages. 

I went to the walk-in-closet and couldn't help but admire the clothes before me. 

After choosing some clothes to wear. I heard footsteps and became alert.

"Luna, the Alpha wants you downstairs for dinner."  A maid asked.

"Oh okay" I replied and could hear her steps retreating. I put on the clothes and left for the dining. 

On reaching the dining area I was surprised to see Alpha Gabriel already seated but he wasn't eating yet. 

Was he waiting for me?

The thought caused a warmth in my heart as I sat down 

"Thank you."  I nervously said. 

I had eaten with him before but with Steven, as his son's wife but this time it was different. I picked up my fork. The food tasted just right.

We ate in silence, no one spoke. And honestly I wanted to ask so many questions. 

I needed answers as to why he accepted me. 

Why did he give me such a spacious room?

I know I changed the outcome so things would obviously change with it but…

But all I did was to take a look at him and realize how peaceful he looked while eating. I couldn't believe I had caused his death.

All of a sudden, I could hear disruption. It was faint but I could hear some noise. The Alpha looked up from his food and took a look at me. 

Just then, a male voice rang out from nowhere. 

"Where is that prostitute?" The anger in his voice filled the air.

I stiffened.
