To the cells
"Say goodbye, rogue," he whispered to me. "Time for your death. Tick tock, tick tock, Alpha Darian won't spare you this time" He taunted as he dragged me towards the Alpha’s ofice .
"The first person to die would be the man standing beside me",. I slammed my lips shut and didn't utter those words. I couldn't waste my energy fooling around with this man. My legs trembled under me as he dragged me more; each movement was a negotiation with gravity. My wolf flailed somewhere under the drug, trying to claw through the fog, and I felt filthy for wanting her to succeed. Wanting to be more than a broken thing dragged along by stronger hands.
We stopped at a heavy door carved with runes and I felt my blood freeze. It was time to face Alpha Darian again.
"Alpha ..."
"Bring that whore in", Alpha Darian cut the guard in mid sentence. Whore?! It was evidently showing that he was already irritated. No chance of my survival
Alpha Darian’s presence hit me the moment I was pushed inside.
The drug fuzzed the edges of my vision, but it couldn’t blur the cut of his jaw or the way his eyes read me like a dossier left on his desk. He flicked a glance toward the guard who’d dragged me in and that guard stuttered back immediately, leaving us only two.
My dirty, tangled hair fell in front of me as I closed my eyes shut immediately and prayed for my life.
"Raise your head", I flinched at the command, my eyelids trembling as if the effort to obey might snap them in two. My chest heaved, every breath thick with the sting of the drug, the fear, and the heat of his presence. Slowly, painstakingly, I lifted my chin, my eyes squinting through the blur of exhaustion and haze.
As soon as my gaze locked with his, a jolt ran through me, sharp and unexpected. My body, still heavy from the drugs, rebelled in ways I hadn’t anticipated. Heat bloomed between my legs, sudden and raw, and I froze, mind racing. What…? My wolf was supposed to be buried under the sedatives, her fire dulled, her instincts locked down.
And yet here she was stirring violently under the fog.
She was demanding attention, alerting me to something I didn’t fully understand. Her presence mingled with the tingling warmth in my core, and my body betrayed me with every shallow inhale.
"What is really happening to me|?",
I forced my eyes to dart away, turning my head sharply to the side, trying to block the heat crawling through me, trying to make myself small.
My throat tightened, my hands curled into fists at my sides and focused my gaze on the floor. If I didn’t meet his gaze, maybe he wouldn’t see the stirrings in me, maybe he wouldn’t notice how the drug had failed to fully silence my wolf, how my body was now betraying me despite every precaution I had taken.
That was a mistake though. I wasn’t allowed to shift my gaze.
"Didn't I tell you to raise your head?", Darian’s patience snapped immediately. In one fluid movement, he rose to his full height, the chair scraping sharply against the floor behind him. Every inch of him radiated fury and dominance. Darian stopped mere inches from me, his gaze a vice around my neck and chest. His fists clenched at his sides, the tension in his body a silent promise of the consequences that would follow if I didn’t obey.
I instantly felt the heat of him like a storm breaking over me but still I refused to raise my head again.
“Did you just disrespect me again?” he hissed, his voice low, lethal, and full of fury.
I failed to reply him. I just swallowed, my throat tight and my body trembling in a way that had nothing to do with the drug. My wolf growled faintly inside me, sharp and insistent, urging caution but also warning me that hiding now was impossible.
Darian’s hand landed on my chin before I could think. The force was gentle enough to avoid breaking my jaw, brutal enough to make my head snap back. His fingers hooked under my chin like a leash, and the motion dragged my eyes up whether I wanted them to travel there or not.
The moment they were up and eyes locked, he looked me in the eyes without blinking.
"Why don't you have a scent?. I'm asking for the last time", He finally spoke.
"I don't know, I was born like that",
I looked away from his claws and shook my head.
A smirk appeared on his lips and he nodded his head. He knew I was lying about my scent.
I had lied about being scentless a dozen times but I knew it that I was screwed up this time.
"Just as I assumed," He smirked.
"Let me go, I am scentless and useless" I said. "And, I will leave quietly, you don't have to kill me",. I felt the words leave my mouth like a lie that had been breathed into life for survival. “I was born like that,” I repeated, because the alternative , telling the truth would mean naming someone I couldn’t afford to condemn.
Darian’s smirk widened, as if I’d handed him exactly what he wanted. He let go of my chin slowly, the motion savoring the small victory. “Born like that,” he echoed. “How convenient.” His voice was flat.
"Scentless or not, I am not letting you go", Oh no. He planned to do something else with me.
"Why?", I asked.
"You asking why," A chill went through me under his stern gaze. That only look was enough, I couldn't move, talk or think-it was as if the fear paralyzed me.
"I-ju-"
"Do you think, I am a fool?",
A whimper slipped past my lips when he out of the blue backed me to the wall. My heart pounded more against my chest. He was more closer than before. When the distance between us disappeared, he leaned down and whispered.
"Scentless or not, I am not letting you go", He repeated the words.
My lips trembled as I spoke, "Is this a game?"
"Yes, a game where you will spread your legs for me or be killed", Beads of wetness collected around my panties when I heard his words. "So, do you want to play?"
"Fuck you," My heart pondered in my throat immediately when those words came out of my mouth.
I was expecting the worst but instead, Darian smirked.
"You're barely covered, shackled and wounded. What makes you think I couldn't take you, right now, right here?"
I froze immediately when I heard his next words.
“You know you can’t do it…” I began, fingers tightening into my cloth as if the fabric could anchor me.
"Why not? You're a rogue, you don't have a family, or a pack, or an Alpha. No one would give a shit about you. I could take you right here and then kill you off before you could even finish." his expression darkened. He was no longer joking or playing games with me.
"Nasser, come for this bitch", He added coldly amd my heart pumped more.
"What are you going to do with me?" I asked, when I saw the same guard who dragged me here, enter in the room again.
"The day will decide what I want to do with you", He spoke.
"Take her back to the cells", He ordered.
