Chapter 01
The mansion is as busy as it should when the daughter of the house is getting Married. The father looks emotional all ready to get his daughter married off to his best friend's son and an intelligent businessman Alexis Aurora. He has to be the happiest father in this World right now.
The groom is still waiting at the alter for his bride while both the friends spoke about how happy they are to be tied in this beautiful Relationship. However the denied arrival of the bride made the atmosphere tense. The sister of the supposed bride came with a letter in her hand and a tear stricken face.
"She is not in her room mom, the jewellery is missing too" hearing the words of her daughter, the mother panicked and asked her to stop kidding with them.
"This is not something that you can joke around with Rose. My patience is limited" The panicked mom told her daughter still wishing it to be a prank from her stupid daughters who loves to play around.
"Mom, i am not lying and I won't be playing games in such a serious situation. She is not in her room and left this letter on the desk" And gave the letter to her mother which almost made her faint.
The letter read:
Sorry Mom I can't marry.. I am too young to get married.. I don't want to marry.. I want to live my life.. I want to become successful model but you forced me to marry the person I don't even know.. I just met him once or twice.. I am sorry mom.. I am leaving.. Don't search for me.. Good bye..
Her Mom started crying loudly after reading it as if someone died there while her husband almost had a heart attack while the groom's parents are shocked not knowing how to react to this kind of humiliation. The groom was visibly irritated with the drama that's happening before him. His eyes moved towards to his supposed sister in law and they shone brighter than they should have.
"She ruined our reputation with this step. How am I supposed to face the society? I was boosting about this in the kitty parties and now I can't even face them. They will laugh at my misery" Her husband got irritated hearing her words. His wife can't be more childish and unreasonable than she is now. Instead of worrying for her daughter and the situation, she is worried about her reputation. He however has a solution to this tricky situation.
"I have one solution for this problem. I don't know whether everyone will be okay with it but as Aliya ran away we have my second daughter Rose and we can go ahead with this Marriage and get her Married to Alexis. This way both our reputation and neither our partnership will be affected" Rose was shocked to hear him. She is just Twenty and she is not yet ready for the Marriage.. She wants to focus on her Life. However Alexis looked happy about the whole scenario.
"You are right Mr. Care, this is what we should do in order to protect our Partnership and reputation. I know my son will accept my decision but what about Rose, will she? Aliya ran away and I don't think, your other daughter wants to become the replacement" Mr. Aurora told him silently provoking him while Alexis liked the direction the whole drama is taking. He then turned towards his son and asked him "Are you willing to Marry Rose?" He already knows the answer but he wanted Care to know about it.
"Dad you asked me to marry Alia and I agreed.. I don't even know her.. I met her once or twice..And about nandu.. I don't know her also.. I also met her once or twice.. I and my friends at least talked to her for once..And Rose is better than Alia..Dad I don't know both..You are changing bride that's it.. I don't know both.. So I don't have any problem to marry her.. I promise you dad I will protect and care for her if she choses to become my Wife. Be assured about this" Alexis tells his dad while Rose was a silent spectator not knowing how to react to the whole thing anymore.
"But what about Rose. Is she okay with it? We can't just force her no matter what. She deserves to be given a choice like everyone else" Alexis asked looking at Rose silently hoping she gives in and decides to marry him. He knows someone as timid as her is easy to control and she will silently accept her Fate. Everyone is looking at her with curiosity and silent hope. Mr. Care decided to play his cards well and make her give in to them. He knows how to manipulate his Daughter.
I have always loved you the most and made sure to give you all the happiness in this World. You are my only hope now. I want you to fulfill your responsibility as my daughter. I am joining my hands in front of you. Please marry Alexis. He is good at heart and he will take care of you more than me. Please consider this my only wish and marry him" Mr Care put in as much as efforts as he could into making her give in to his requests. Rose felt helpless and unhappy in that situation. She doesn't understand what she should do in that situation but the helpless look on her father's face and the tears in his eyes are making her weak. She silently begged him with her eyes to stop him from making her feel so helpless but nothing seemed to have worked on her Father. He was determined.
"Dad you know about my dreams. You know what I want to do with my life but you want to tie me up in this Marriage. You do realise that you are emotionally blackmailing me right" Mr Care was shocked to hear her words. She was not the kind of person to question his decision but today she doesn't even seem like his daughter. He has no answer to her question and he did what he is good at when it comes to Rose.
