an amazing sequel to the first book in the series. I will say it is a walk through the journey of healing from long term abuse & trauma. from ALL sides - from the survivors side AND the side of loved ones who are supporting them. I do recommend turning off comments because they can distract from the story - but even if you get frustrated when reading - keep going to the end. That frustration is actually a valid part of the healing journey for supporting family/friends

Sooo.. I'm 10 chapter in this book and this is the second one..? I'm already hooked and the thought of stopping to read another first is just so impossible! Love the story, a bit twisted but my god that is a relief for a shifter story!

I have a question that may have been addressed in the book comments prior but I will be honest I did t read through all comment every chapter. How did Lukas not feel the mate betrayal from the abuse Lily suffered from her adopted parents? I apologize if this has been addressed an answered else where. I assume at this point it is because Loatie has been providing the potions since she was an infant is why though.
