"You WOULDN'T!" Sophia shrieked. "You think Alexander would believe a junkie like you?"

"Let's find out." Jeffrey grinned. "I've got nothing left to lose anyway. Might as well go down swinging. Wonder what he'll do to you when he learns the truth?"
