Chapter 27 The Capture

When Adrian woke, he was in a room he didn't recognize.

White walls. White ceiling. A single light, so bright it hurt to look at. His hands were cuffed to the arms of a chair, his ankles bound, his head throbbing with a pain that told him he'd been hit hard.

The key was gone. Both keys were gone.
