- Beryl Windston- Main female Character, daughter of great warrior Thomas Windston
- Ryder Onakry- Main male character, leader of the Southern angle
- Amethyst Windston- Beryl's older sister, one of the best beast riders in Allorna
- Topaz Windston- Beryl’s older brother
- Jude Stompson- Beryl's best friend whom she has a crush on, also leader of the Western angle
- Victoria Evanna- Beryl's female friend
- Samuel Jopkins- Beryl's male friend
- Lila Drakens- Beryl’s bunkmate
- Daniel Brownhansson- a member of the trainees
Akam- A gelatinous/semi-solid food substance given to recuperating patients
Allorna- Their country
Amodeus- The Allorna God of Death
AS-Quatre- Training model used in the signary
Balsaam- A healing toxin that is used in cases of severe injuries that knocks you out to heal from within. Hardly used because a slight overdose is life threatening.
Belial- The Allorna God of Passing or the Passageway to Death.
Beltrezeb- A red, four leaf clover plant. Its leaves cause itchy eyes on contact, its flowers cause a four-day insomnia when ground and taken as tea and its roots are cured to make balm that heals wounds.
Colsum- A bluish fruit which its juice is taken as a drink to take away pain
Familials- Someone you know beyond introduction level or are acquainted with
Feghera- A tree, which its seed is used as a sedative to induce temporary sleep. Also known as a sleeping pill.
Healers Cubicle- Training ground for healers
Historians Avenue- Training ground for historians
Stardust- A powder used to prevent blood clots when drank mixed with water. It’s secondary effect is to hasten inflammation and promote healing.
Warrior Signary- Training ground for warriors
Wielding- A special ability given to Allorna citizens who decide to go into community service.
