Chapter 3

Aurora's POV

“Talia, what do you think you are doing here!” I yelled at her.

Clara had informed me that there was a new girl joining me.I was surprised because not all the girls could serve in a local bar but I was glad that the workload wouldn't be too much until my happiness faded when I saw Talia grinning happily.

“Don't get it twisted,I came here to work, not hang out. I need this job because I need money.” She winked at me and I scoffed.

I backed away from her and rubbed my face in frustration,Talia was going to be the end of me. I looked at her again and she blew kisses to me which I slayed with an imaginary sword.

Talia blended in real fast, unlike me she was jovial and she joked with the customers. They were comfortable with her but I watched her like a hawk in case those smelling pigs wanted to try anything funny.

“Guess who I saw today?” Talia nudged me as we were cleaning.

“Who?” I arched my eyebrows.

“Beta Griffin!” She said in excitement and I rolled my eyes.

“Don't give me that look.” She clicked her tongue. “He is the second most handsome man in the pack,do you know who the first is?” She asked.

“I don't want to.” I wasn't interested in the men of Blood Fang Pack.

If not anything they are known to be the most promiscuous in the werewolf, most especially the rich ones and the high rank ones.

“Well the most handsome man in the pack is Alpha Lucian,the only son of Alpha Desmond. Does it ring a bell?” She pressed and I nodded at her question.

Of course why wouldn't it.

Alpha Lucian was the number one on the pervert list,he has no sense of responsibility whatsoever. The rumors about him changing women like his clothings were proved to be a hundred percent true.I didn't blame him though I blame the ladies that helplessly threw themselves at him cheaply.

I pity his future mate,the poor woman who had to deal with the harsh reality.

“My whole body is aching,why would that woman give us crazy chores like this just for some penny.” Talia murmured in a sad tone.

I sighed and took the mopping stick from her,she frowned and I motioned for her to sit while I finished up so we could leave on time.

“Aurora!” Clara's voice rang as we were about to leave.

“Wait for me.” I told Talia and I went back inside.

I entered Clara's mini office,she was counting some money. When she saw that I entered she quickly parked them in the drawer,she cleared her throat awkwardly.

“I have a job for you but I'm not sure if you could do it.”

“Where?”

“Club red, it's a waitress job, just to serve liquor as you always do here.” She informed me and waited for my reply.

Club red was the most expensive and restricted club in the town,it was called club red because of the sinful and audacious activities that were held there. And the worst case was that it wasn't for low rank, only high rank were allowed in.

“How much?” I asked,the payment would determine if it's worth risking my life.

“Three hundred bucks.” She said,

“Five hundred bucks.” I bargained.

“No.” She shook her head and I nodded.

I turned around to leave,but she called me back. I smirked and turned to look at her.

“When do you need me?”

“Tonight.” She answered.

“That's soon!”

“That's why I'm paying you this much.” She stood her ground.

I went back outside after agreeing with Clara's demand, Talia rushed to me wondering why I was being called.

“You should go back to your house Talia,I wouldn't be sleeping at home tonight.”

“Why! Is something wrong?” She asked immediately.

“No,I have a job to do for Clara tonight and I won't be done till dawn.” I answered.

“I hope it isn't something dangerous?” She asked in a worried tone.

Knowing how Talia was and how she would react,I dare not tell her that it was a waitress job at Club red.

“It's not dangerous at all.” I lied.

“If you say so.” She gave in.

I made sure Talia went back to her house, night came faster than usual and I took a cab to the club since Clara had said she would wait for me outside the club.

“Took you long enough.” Clara uttered when I got to where she was.

“I'm.. sorry for keeping you waiting,i had to look for a uniform to put on.” I apologized.

Clara read the instructions to me on how I wasn't permitted to relate with anyone in there,my main business was to serve nothing else nothing more which stuck well with me.

Clara left and I took the back entrance where the other waitress was gathered.I and three other girls were assigned to the VIP room of the club.

As we stepped inside the room to take the guests orders,we were greeted by Intense scent of phenomenon, alcohol, cigarettes and drugs. The only people in the room were two guys and a group of ladies which were  naked.

One of the girls stood up and gave me the list of the things they wanted.I bowed, took it from her and turned around to leave but accidentally bumped into someone.

“I'm…sorry.” I bowed and apologized immediately.

When I didn't hear a response I looked up and saw that it was a man,I gasped when I saw who I bumped into. He had golden brown hair,dark blue eyes,chiseled jawline,broad shoulders and I felt the exuding effortless power that radiated from him.

But I felt a warm feeling, and his scent too was intoxicating.

The man's eyes darkened and I fell to the ground and bowed to apologize again.

“MATE!” I heard him growling and I froze.
