He chuckled and licked his lips as he approached. He stopped at me first, grabbing my chin and leaning close to take a deep breath of my scent. He chuckled as I recoiled and shuddered in disgust.
Then, he stopped at Angelia, tracing a hand over her cheek.

    This book is hard to read in the beginning and parts throughout because of the graphic history the protagonist goes through; however, this is one of the best books I have read on here and I'm not even finished. I highly recommend this book. Not only is the story itself well done, but it's one of the only books that I've seen on here that looks like the author actually knows how to write properly. I'm completely engaged and waiting on the next couple chapters every day.
