Chapter 14 Dominion Over Shattered Voids

Adrian Chapman stood at the edge of the node platform on Floor 4. The big hole in the ground called a canyon stretched out below him with its floating islands and weird reality tears that pulsed with energy. After their fight the gravity in the area had become even more unpredictable making it hard for even strong climbers to navigate. Adrian knew that to get stronger they had to keep fighting and adapting. Black Eden, his group, would. Take control of this floor or get destroyed by it.

He looked over the status of his group with an eye as the main members gathered to plan their next big move.

These numbers showed how strong Adrian and his group were. His ability, Devour had helped them become even stronger by turning energy into good power. This power had allowed them to take control of areas that were too tough for groups. His friends, Tobias, Thomas, Elio and the other sixty four core members had all gotten stronger together because they worked as a team and shared their knowledge.

"Big storms are coming near the void nexus " Adrian said. "The platforms here will move faster when we are under attack. We need to take the nexus and make it our main base on Floor 4. Tobias keep track of the gravity and our enemies. Thomas figure out the path through the storms. Elio make sure we have food for a long fight. Everyone focus on getting the core beasts so we can use Devour to get even stronger. Black Eden is going to take this nexus."

Tobias used his Predator Tracking skill to scan the area. "I found the signatures, brother. There are one hundred eighty nine gravity beasts coming our way and thirty three of them are elites with heavy fracture cores. Caesar Thrax is sending a team to talk to us. Henry Sheldons Alliance of Light is trying to spy on us and take down our platforms."

Thomas used his Arcane Calculation skill to understand the storms. "The storms will get worse near the nexus. The fracture chains will get stronger after we fight. We can use Adrians Gravity and Fracture Dominions to make paths. Taking this nexus will give us a lot of resources to make our group stronger."

Elio got everything for the fight. "We have a meal that will help us. It will give us Mana make us more stable and help us control reality better. Lets eat and get ready brothers."

The group ate together. Got a buff that made them stronger.

Guild Buff Applied: Mana recovery +43 percent Gravity Resistance +39, Vitality drain reduction percent Devour efficiency +31 percent for 90 minutes.

They moved forward fighting against the gravity cursed titans and fracture storms that were tearing through reality. Adrian used his Gravity Dominion and Fracture Command skills to make paths and trap the beasts. His Sin Authority skill helped them kill thirty seven beasts at once.

Adrian felt his power surge making him more determined to win. This growth would help him build an empire and prevent anyone from betraying him again. The power system rewarded those who took control without hesitation.

Tobias helped the group by directing them with precision using his Predator senses to find the elites. Each kill gave them information about the fracture timing.

Tobias Update: Low B rank achieved. New passive: Storm Insight. Shared guild synergy: +17 percent experience distribution.

Thomas used his rune barrages to stabilize the platforms. "The core nodes are exposed on the titans. We need to keep using Fracture Command to prevent chain reactions."

Elio helped the group by restoring their health and making it easier for them to fight. The fight lasted forty four minutes. Adrian used his Shadow Step skill to strike critical blows and absorb valuable memories from the elites.

Devour success on Fracture Titan Elite: Agility +20, Perception +18. Skill upgrade: Gravity Dominion radius to 80 meters. Overall rank: 42 percent to High B.

The group was driven by their emotions with Adrians anger and determination pushing them. Each stat gain made them stronger and less weak. Tobias showed his loyalty Thomas his dedication and Elio his mastery. The new members showed their commitment to the group.

Void Nexus Outer Sector Secured. Floor 4 Progress: 57 percent. Guild experience bonus: 3550 points. Local storm frequency reduced by 48 percent.

A big chest. Adrian took the primary relic: Void Shadow Heart. He used Devour to integrate it into his skills.

Integration: All Dominion skills gain synergy. New guild tool: Void Anchor.

Tobias got storm tracking Thomas got advanced fracture runes and Elio got premium catalysts. The resources were distributed based on how much each member contributed.

"Lets plan our move " Adrian said. "I want to focus on Mana and Perception to help us control the guild better. This will help us take territory. What are your priorities brothers?"

Tobias said, "I want to focus on Agility and Vitality for tracking, brother."

Thomas said, "Mana and Perception are critical for modeling."

Elio and the other members agreed with the plan. They were ready for the intense fight.

They cleared seven waves and moved closer to the core. Adrians Devour tally reached eighty eight entities.

Cumulative Devour: Strength +63, Mana +91 Agility +51. New skill fragment: Void Dominion. Rank progress to 76 percent.

The ground. The Floor 4 nexus Monarch appeared as a colossal Void Gravity Sovereign. It was a mid B rank monster with devastating warping abilities. Its appearance triggered a floor- event and other groups started to move in.

Thomas analyzed the situation. "The core is protected by layers. The warping pulses come every eighteen seconds. We need to take down the defenses before we can use Devour."

The fight. The Sovereign warped reality, throwing platforms and spawning minions. Adrian used all his Dominions to create grounds and command the voids to disrupt the beast.

Major Devour chains engaged.

Tobias marked the timings Thomas exposed the vulnerabilities. Elio sustained the group.

Adrian executed a combination using his Sin Authority to clamp onto the core.

Major Devour, on Void Gravity Sovereign initiated.

The essence flowed into Adrian making him stronger.

Adrian felt his presence grow. The group got a lot of shared gains. Black Eden expanded to seventy one core members.

Floor 4 Nexus Monarch Defeated. Guild Level increased to 8.

Adrian took the centerpiece relic: Void Sovereign Crown. More resources were distributed to the group.

"Black Eden has taken the nexus " Adrian declared. "We control this sector. Are ready to move deeper into the floors."

Tobias reported, "Caesar Thrax wants to meet with us, brother."
