Chapter 12 Descent into the Fractured Depths
Adrian Chapman led his team, Black Eden through a portal thing on the fourth floor stairs. They came out into this broken canyon place where the rules of the world seemed all messed up. There were rocks floating in the air and bridges made of some kind of magic stuff that connected them. The gravity was all weird too it was like it was pulling them in directions all the time. This made it really hard for them to walk around without falling off the rocks.
Adrian stopped at the edge of the rock to check on his teams status. He wanted to make sure everyone was ready for what was coming
Name: Adrian Chapman
Rank: Peak C (he was getting close to the level only 14% to go)
Class: Shadow Inferno Lord (he had a special hidden class that was still evolving)
Core Ability: Sin Authority. Devour (this ability helped him absorb the powers of his enemies and it was getting stronger all the time)
Skills: He had a lot of skills like shadow manipulation, teleportation and the ability to control ash and other things
Stats: He was strong fast. Had a lot of magic power (Strength 312 Agility 324 Mana 612 Vitality 274 Perception 281)
These numbers showed that Adrian and his team were getting a lot stronger. They had been working together. Sharing their powers to become a real force in this world.
"Gravity is going to be a problem on this floor " Adrian said. "The rocks will fall if we use much magic.. There are these reality fractures that can drain our powers. We need to find a place to set up our base and then start clearing out the monsters around us. Tobias can you keep track of the gravity. See if there are any other teams around? Thomas can you figure out the patterns of the fractures and the rocks? Elio can you make us some food that will help us resist the gravity? Everyone else lets focus on killing the monsters and absorbing their powers."
Tobias started scanning the area. Found a lot of gravity monsters and some strong ones with special powers. He also saw that another team, the Caesar Thrax team was following them. They were not attacking.
Thomas did some calculations. Found out that the rocks had a 47% chance of falling if they used too much magic. He also found out that the fractures happened every 18 minutes.
Elio made some food that would help them resist the gravity. They all ate it together.
They got a buff that helped them recover magic resist gravity and not lose much power when they got hurt.
They started moving across the rocks fighting monsters and using their powers to stabilize the ground. Adrian used his Shadow Dominion and Nexus Dominion to control the monsters and the rocks.
They killed a lot of monsters. Adrian absorbed their powers.
He got stronger. His rank went up. He also got a power that helped him resist the gravity.
The team kept fighting. They got even stronger. They cleared out a lot of monsters. Secured their base.
A chest. Adrian took the main prize, a Gravity Shadow Core. He absorbed it. It made his powers even stronger.
He got a tool that helped him stabilize the rocks and a new power that let him control the gravity.
The team distributed the resources they got. Adrian told them to allocate their points. He put his points into magic and perception so he could control area and get more information.
Tobias put his points into agility and vitality so he could keep tracking the monsters and stay safe.
Thomas put his points into magic and perception so he could keep calculating the fractures and the rocks.
Elio and the other team members put their points into utility and balanced growth so they could support the team better.
They kept fighting and clearing out monsters. Adrians power kept growing. He was getting close to the next level.
He killed a lot more monsters and his rank went up more. He got a power that let him stabilize the reality tears.
The canyon got harder and the monsters got stronger.. Adrian and his team were ready. They used all their powers. Worked together to clear out the area.
A team from Caesar Thrax came to them with a proposal. They wanted to exchange information about the floor and they promised not to attack each other.
Adrian. They got some valuable information, about the gravity mechanics.. Then they found out that another team, the Henry Sheldon team was attacking their outposts on the surface.
They kept fighting. They got even stronger. They killed a lot of monsters and Adrians power kept growing.
He killed more monsters and his rank went up even more. He got a power that let him control the floating platforms.
They faced a boss, a Gravity Fracture Behemoth and it was really hard to beat.. They worked together and used all their powers to defeat it.
Adrian absorbed the bosss powers and his rank went up more.
We Got Really Good At This: Our Strength Went Up By 37 Our Mana Went Up By 58 Our Vitality Went Up By 29. Our Perception Went Up By 24. We Also Got A New Ability Called Fracture Inferno Lord Which Is Really Cool Because It Lets Us Control Gravity And Reality. Our Class Evolution Is Moving Forward. We Are Now At Low B Rank.
Our Stats Are Now: Strength Is 347 Agility Is 359 Mana Is 678 Vitality Is 305. Perception Is 312.
We are really good at handling situations now. Our guild is doing great. A lot of members are getting stronger. Black Eden now has fifty eight core members.
We Beat The Boss On Floor 4. This Means The Game Is Going To Be A Little Easier For Everyone Because The Gravity Is Not As Hard. Our Guild Level Is Now 6.
Adrian got a cool item called the Fracture Crown which makes our control abilities even better. We also got some stuff to help us.
"Black Eden is winning again " Adrian said. "We are, in charge of this canyon area. We are getting ready to go deeper. The system helps the guilds so we are going to make sure we are the best. Black Eden is going to control everything."
Tobias told us what he found out. "What Caesar told us is true. Yannis Apollon is getting really strong fast. Henry is planning something "
