Chapter 11
RENZO SMITH'S POINT OF VIEW
The sun shines above the sky, it glows like the moon. The sky was peaceful, the birds were flying freely up in the sky. The clouds and sky were as blue as the ocean. Some birds were chipping from the branches of the tree. The tree swayed as the wind blows it, creating a warm wind that passes by my bare skin
I push the wooden door that was in front of me. Warm air passes by my bare skin. I immediately felt the warmth of the cold room.
I closed my eyes to smell the lavender fragrance of the whole room. I opened my eyes as soon as I finished smelling it. I ordered Rod to put some lavender fragrance inside of the room where I would be in my office. Because the smell of lavender is Amelia's favorite, smelling it, I felt like Amelia's with me. And I could feel the warmth of her presence.
"Rod!" I called him.
He immediately closed the door and fix the chair where I was sitting.
There are piles of folders on my table. It is the reports that I ordered my men to give me. A lot of them already passed it, and some still didn't finish what I ordered them to do. I just needed to know something about there self so I could classify them and what they are good at.
Rod sat down at the opposite table two meters away from my table. He was reading the evidence that was given to us. Because we are still finding some clues as to where to start in re-investigating.
I looked at the USB that was placed on my table. I put it inside of my laptop and it work, the footage immediately played.
"Rod! Come in here, " I called him so he called also watch the video.
The video played on its own...
"Have you Renzo's face when he knows his mission?" The woman in her mid 40's laughed wickedly.
She looked at the two younger women in front of her, that was supposed to be her companion and the person that she always ordered around.
From the looked on her face, she seems to enjoy seeing Renzo being miserable.
In the dark part corner of the room. She enjoyed telling the two younger girls the things she enjoyed seeing. Her words were filled with insult.
"Yes! Maam. He seems to be in trouble now. They didn't know that it was planned by us. He is caught by our bait now he had no choice to do the mission, " the young woman said.
"But it seems he re-investigating the mission again, " answered the other woman.
The woman that was in her mid 40's looked at her companion. With greed in her eyes, inside of her mind was full of wicked plans that she was been wanting to do. From the way, she smirked everyone could see the vicious things that she could do.
"The evidence could not lead him to nothing. It could not also lead to us, he could find something useful to it. If he could not prove that his wife is not a criminal he would need to kill her wife or turn her over to the police, " the woman in her mid 40's said proudly.
"We planned this perfectly, Maam! He could not know anything, " the young woman answered.
"It is just ashamed that Amelia must marry Renzo. It is a pity for her to meet that kind of man. She deserves what would happen to her. I wanted her to be dead, and out of my way. She is just a hypocrite that ruined and take away what belonged to me, " the mid 40's woman said.
She started to insult his wife of Renzo with her big mouth.
"Every insult that I would say about her, she deserves it, "
The video ended, and I can not see the three woman's faces to identify who are they.
But who could put this USB on my table?
"Rod find out who this USB belongs!" I ordered him.
"Right away!" He answered.
I can only trust Rod in this mission. Because he was once Blaike's loyal man. I could only trust him since he is the only person I can rely on here. If he betrayed me, then I would show him, what I could do.
"Trusting Rod would be a big decision for me, " I whispered to myself while looking at Rod that was leaving inside the room.
"Do you want to come in with me to my mansion?" I asked Rod while he was working on some documents.
I would go home now. Since it is already 6:00 P.M. And I am sure that Amelia was already in there.
I just wanted to see if I could trust Rod with a lot of important things. Since trusting him would be the biggest decision that I would make. I can not do the mission alone, I needed someone to help me and rely on.
I would take any risk just to protect my beloved Amelia...
"For what?" He asked me.
"Dinner, " I answered.
"Okay!" He replied and smiled.
ROD AZRAEL'S POINT OF VIEW
I could feel I was starting to earn Renzo's trust. Earning someone's trust is not easy, nowadays. I would not betray him and stayed loyal to him, like what I did when Blaike became my leader. Blaike and Renzo had a lot of differences, but they are both kind and generous.
I am now following Renzo's car towards his house. The sun is almost setting down and it is getting darker. It is still early, and I told Ayesha that we could have dinner at 8 P.M. and she said "yes".
I would just eat a little and eat slowly. So that I could still have an appetite when I eat dinner with Ayesha. Since she was the one cooking for the both of us.
I took a deep breath and sighed...
As I come out of my car. I had already parked inside Renzo's mansion. Some guards opened the gate for us. Their garden is quite huge, it could fit our house in here.
I felt like my heart is racing. It is beating faster and faster like crazy. It is pounding so fast that I could almost hear it.
Why did I become so nervous so suddenly?
I just shrugged it off and continue walking, while following Renzo behind. My heart continues to pound so fast.
I can not understand why I was feeling this way.
"Renzo..." I called him.
I wanted to go to the bathroom first to clear up my mind. Because I didn't know why I was feeling this, why my heart is pounding is fast.
I just not like I did anything wrong. Right?
"Yes?" He asked me and looked at me.
He stopped walking as soon as he looked at me. We are not inside their big mansion, in their living room.
"Where is your restroom? Could I use your restroom for a while?" I asked him.
I want to wash my face to clear up my mind first. Maybe that way my heart could calm down.
Maybe I was feeling this because it is the first time that I was entering Renzo's house. There is also a possibility that I could meet his wife. That is why I was feeling like this I was a little bit nervous about meeting new people. Especially the person we are investigating.
"Of course! You just needed to go straight in there, then left, when you saw two doors, go for the right door, that is the restroom, " Renzo instructed.
"Thank you!" I replied.
"Once you are finished. Just go to the dining area. I would instruct them to prepare some food for us to eat, " he stated.
I just nodded and smiled at him.
I walked towards the restroom. I am lucky that I didn't see any of Renzo's maids. I was still new in his mansion and I was still a little bit shy.
When I finally reached the restroom. I immediately locked the doors. Even the bathroom is huge, the shower, and even the mirror are huge. I immediately opened the faucet and let the water flow.
I washed my face many times and looked in the mirror.
I took a deep breath and sighed...
I wipe the water that was on my face using the clean towel that was inside the bathroom. Then I get out of the bathroom.
I was walking in the hallway towards the dining area when I bumped into someone.
"Im sorry!" I apologize and looked at the person who I bumped into.
My jaw almost dropped to the floor as I saw the familiar face in front of me.
What was she doing in here?
Why she was in here?
There were a lot of questions that keep popping inside of my mind right now. I was a little bit confused about why she would be here. Because I am sure that she didn't even know them. But now she was standing in front of me.
"It is okay!" She replied and smiled at me.
Her angelic smile always melts my heart...
But what was my girlfriend doing in here?
I thought she would be in the house. And it seems like she act like she didn't know me.
"Ayesha..."
