Chapter 3
"Oh my gosh, are you alright! Please say something!" Joanna said as she knelt down and patted him looking for any broken bones. When she tried to move his arm, he winced in pain as she quickly let go of his arm.
"Can....can you stand up," she stammered worried now.
"Yes, I think so, please help me up."
Getting hold of his good arm, she struggled to help him up as he was twice her size and led him to her car.
"Wait what about my car."
"I'll get someone to come fetch it for you, right now we need to take care of this arm," she told him as she settled him into his car.
"Morgan, Jonathan! I need your help," she called out as she opened her passenger door. Susan call the doctor immediately!"
"Which room should we put him in," Morgan asked at they walked up the stairs ahead of me.
"Take him to my room, the others are not prepared."
"Well he is a lucky fellow, he just has a fractured arm, from what I can see, he will need an X-ray as soon as possible, and the sling I placed will be good for only until tomorrow."
Giving him some pain medication, the doctor told her to check on him every two hours, and that he still needed to get examined in a hospital as there could be some internal damage.
"Thank you doctor," I told him as I let Morgan show him out.
After telling everyone to retire, she headed back to her room. Changing out of her wet clothes she put on something warm and comfortable, she noticed that the man she had hit, still had on wet clothes.
She called Jonathan asking him for some clothes as he was about the same size as the stranger. He brought up the clothes and left her after she told him about the strangers' car. Softly shaking the stranger awake, she told him about changing his clothing.
Leaving the room to give maim some privacy, she came back only to find that he had managed to change his pants, and only had the good arm out of his shirt sleeve.
Sitting beside him she finally took a good look at him. His lips were slightly parted as if he was about to say something. He had a straight nose and strong jawline that accentuated his facial features. His eyes were the colour of honey, and seemed to have specks of gold when he turned towards the light. She slowly helped him remove the shirt, making sure not to hurt his arm any further. Grabbing the waistline of his vest, she slowly peeled it off over his head, loving the feel of his muscles. The body of a Greek god, she thought to herself as she helped him into a dry shirt.
"Wait what am I doing he is a complete stranger," she thought.
Afterwards he drifted off to sleep once more and she settled into a chair beside the bed.
This was her problem and she would have to deal with it. She needed to find out his name, were he lived and any other information that could be useful in contacting his family.
