Chapter 5- Tourists For The Day
It was much later in the day and Aria had enjoyed strolling through the dreamy
streets of Istanbul. Adrian had sent his most trusted guard with her, after she
had made it clear that she wasn’t going to sit around and wait for him back at
the hotel as she wanted to explore.
“I’ll take it from here” Adrian said to Jared after he stepped out of his luxurious
car and walked over to Aria who busy admiring the sunset view of the city.
“She’s a handful, good luck” Jared said quietly before he walked away. Adrian
looked down at the beauty in front of him, thinking she looked stunning with
the evening sun shining right in her direction.
“How was your day?” he asked her quietly, taking her by surprise. Aria jumped
slightly and looked up at him, not expecting to see him there at all.
“It was good, when did you come?” she asked as she hadn’t heard him walk
over. Adrian stood beside her and looked down at her.
“Not long ago, you look beautiful” he said with a serious look as he ran his
fingers through her long hair, thinking he could look at her all day and not get
bored.
Aria felt her heart skip a beat and her stomach flutter crazily as she looked up
at him, thinking even he looked sexy, and she liked what he was wearing. He
was wearing light beige slightly fitted trousers which he wore with a off white
buttoned shirt. He had his sleeves rolled back to his elbows and all his hair tied
back in a man bun.
“Can I just admire the view” she said with a small smile before she turned all
her attention back to the water that was nicely glistening under the evening
sun. Adrian put a hand to his chin and looked down at her,
“I don’t see anyone stopping you” he said with a small smirk, and it was then
his eyes fell to her cute size cleavage, thinking she really was a doll. Aria held
onto the metal rail in front of her and enjoyed the view,
“I love it here” she said with a small smile as the gentle breeze blew around
them both, making strands of her hair fall in front of her eyes.
Adrian gently slipped the few strands back behind her ear and looked down at
her, thinking she had walked into his life like a breath of fresh air and had his
attention from the very first glance.
“I’ll show you around properly once you're done admiring the sunset” he said
with a hand in his pocket. Aria looked up at him, thinking standing next to him
felt so perfect yet so wrong.
“I can’t wait” she said before she looked back out at the water that was filled
with small boats and yachts. Adrian watched her quietly, wondering what was
on her mind as she looked lost in thought.
It was a while later and Adrian had showed her around at a few of his favourite
spots. It was now almost nine in the evening, and they had both stopped for
some food at a random shop on the sidewalk of a slightly tight road.
“You want to sit inside or outside?” he asked as a waiter approached them
both politely. Aria looked at him,
“Outside” she said with a small smile, thinking she loved the hustle and bustle
of the city. Adrian told the waiter to bring them a bit of everything as he had
no idea what kind of food she liked.
“This is lovely” Aria said after she sat down and crossed one of her nice legs
over the other one. Adrian leaned back against his seat lazily and looked at
her,
“We need to talk” he said quietly yet clearly, getting all her attention. Aria
looked at him with a serious look,
“We do” she said, taking him by surprise. Adrian took out a cigarette from his
pocket and looked at her,
“I’ll let you start” he said, wondering what it was that she had to say.
Aria drank some of her freshly squeezed orange juice and looked at him with
a serious look on her pretty face,
“I need to know why I can’t go home” she said as she fixed one of the rings she
was wearing, thinking her friends must be worried sick as she hadn’t spoken
to them since the day she had got shot. Adrian listened quietly,
“You’re currently the talk of every huge media outlet around the world,
everyone wants to know what happened and who better to ask then the girl
who took the bullet” he said before he took a puff of his cigarette.
Aria felt her whole-body tense, thinking she could never be the centre of
attention, not after what happened in the past. She moved the glass of juice
from her lips and looked up at Adrian,
“This can’t be happening” she thought to herself, hoping he could take her out
from the spotlight. Adrian tapped his cigarette into an ashtray and looked at
her with a serious look,
“What’s wrong? You look a little scared” he said quietly. Aria gently massaged
the back of her delicate neck,
“I don’t want to be the centre of attention of anyone or anything, please get
me out of this” she said pleadingly.
It was then the owner of the restaurant bought out their food himself, after
he had heard that a multi billionaire was dining at his place. Adrian gave him
a small polite nod and waited for him to leave before he turned all his
attention back to the pretty girl sitting in front of him.
“I’m trying my best but it’s not easy, it’s my word against the world” he said.
Aria listened quietly, thinking he had a point, once something was sold to the
media it was almost impossible to get it back or removed.
The rest of dinner went by in silence and Adrian waited until they had both
finished eating before he asked her what he needed do.
“ Have you contacted any of your family since coming here?” He asked
although he hadn’t seen her use her phone.
“ I haven’t and don’t intend to either” Aria said quickly. Adrian drank some of
his drink and looked at her with a serious loo
“Why?” He asked, hoping he didn’t come of nosey. Aria looked up at him, his
slightly hairy chest catching her attention.
“ I haven’t spoken to them in years, but I have friends who are like family and
that’s all I need” she said with a small smile that didn’t reach her eyes.
Adrian felt a little sorry for her, something he had never felt for anyone before,
not even himself.
“ You should let them know that you’re alive and breathing” he said about her
friends. Aria smiled and looked at him,
“I will, anyways enough on me, tell me a bit about yourself” she said after a
waiter took both of their used plates away.
Adrian leaned back against his seat and looked at her, wondering what it was
exactly that she wanted to know.
“ You ask and I’ll answer” he said quietly. Aria looked up at him,
“Let start with how old you are?” She asked quickly, making him smirk. Adrian
put down his half empty glass of drink on the table,
“I can be any age you want me to be beautiful” he said quietly, with his sexy
deep voice sounding very tempting. Aria felt her heart skip a beat,
“I much rather you be the age you are then pretend to be a number you’re
not” she said bluntly. Adrian let out a small quiet laugh, thinking he didn’t
remember the last time he had laughed.
“Well on that note I’m forty” he said with a hand on his chin, taking her by
surprise like expected.
Aria felt her pretty eyes widen and stomach flutter crazily the moment she
realised he was old enough to be her dad.
“Wow I don’t know what to say” she said a little nervously as she remembered
their moment from earlier when he made her come.
“That’s surprising, seeing as you have a reply for everything” Adrian said with
a small smirk, thinking she looked stunning.
“You’re not under eighteen, are you?” he asked before he paid for their food
and stood up tall. Aria got up after him and looked up at him with a small smile,
“No but I’m closer to eighteen then forty” she said quietly, thinking her friends
would never let her live it down after they found out that she had fucked a
man who was almost twice her age. Adrian listened to her quietly,
“Explains a lot” he said with a small smirk as he remembered the first time he
entered her body, thinking she had felt very tight and heavenly, almost like
she had never been fucked before.
“When was the last time you came here?” Aria asked him with a small smile
as they both walked side by side, through the busy streets of Istanbul. Adrian
stopped at a small coffee and tea shop and lead the way inside,
“It’s been a few months” he said as a young waitress showed them to a nice
cosy spot in the corner and left them with two small menus. It was clear this
seating area was made specially for couples as it had dim lighting and small
lanterns scattered all around. Aria looked at Adrian hesitantly,
“Maybe we should get another table” she said as it looked too romantic for
her liking. Adrian looked over at her,
“This is the best you’re going to get here” he said before he sat down and made
himself comfortable.
Aria gave him a look with her eyes before she sat down next to him and
admired all the pretty lights inside, thinking Turkey was beautiful.
“Let me know when you’re ready to order” Adrian said as he passed her a
menu and tried his best to not glance at her chest, thinking although her dress
wasn’t revealing it still caught his attention. Aria took it from his hand and
looked through it quietly, trying her best to not focus on their closeness.
“I’ll have a hot chocolate with whipped cream please” she said with a small
smile, trying her best to not take too long to choose. Adrian gave her a small
nod before he called over the same waitress who had shown them to their
table and told her what they both wanted. The waitress took her sweet time
noting it all down,
“Would you like anything else sir?” she asked before she told him about some
of the in-house cakes they offered.
Aria tried her best to not roll her eyes, although it was clear she was flirting.
Adrian looked up at the waitress,
“Surprise me” he said before he turned his attention back on Aria. The waitress
smiled happily and quickly walked away, thinking he had just made her day.
“Are you ok? You look a little hurt” Adrian said to Aria, not missing the hint of
annoyance in her pretty eyes. Aria slipped a few strands of her hair behind her
ear and looked at him,
“I’m fine just didn’t expect a man of your age to be flirting so openly” she said
although she knew he hadn’t said much to the waitress and had tried his best
to keep their conversation as short as possible. Adrian smirked,
“The only one I want to flirt with is you, she holds nothing against you
beautiful” he said quietly, making her heart skip a beat. Aria fixed one of her
pretty earrings and listened to him quietly,
“I’m not looking for a relationship, but you should really get a move on
though” she said with a small smile, thinking she had never smiled as much as
she had in the last few days. Adrian leaned back against his seat lazily and
looked at her with quiet an amused look on his face,
“What if I told you I’m already married?” he asked with a hand on his chin. Aria
looked at him with her eyes wide,
“Please tell me you’re not” she said quietly, thinking fuck if what he said was
true, she would never be able to forgive herself. Adrian reached over the table
and took hold of one of her pretty hands,
“Relax, I wouldn’t be here with you if I was” he said quietly yet clearly. Aria
felt a little uneasy, as she wasn’t sure if he was telling the truth or just said
that to make her feel better momentarily.
