Chapter 10

Sassy woke up from her sleep to the pounding pains again. She curled up on her bed and held her belly tightly.

She bit her pillow, trying to prevent herself from screaming as the pain was unbearable.

Her canines grew out and she tore up the pillow. She groaned loudly and jumped off the bed, still holding her belly.

After a few minutes, she slumped.

Alpha Murphy lay on his back panting and groaning in pleasure. Megan lay on top of him, looking flushed and breathless. They had just rounded up a moment of passion, but she still stared at him lustfully.

She sat down on the bed and began to caress his chest.

"That was intense." She said.

"Of course. You don't get tired, do you?" Alpha Murphy asked.

"I'm a werewolf, so I guess my answer is no."

Alpha Murphy nodded.

"Fair enough. Humans don't have the same strength as us, so I'll take that." He said.

"Oh really? How many humans have you mated with, to have come to this conclusion?" Megan asked.

Alpha Murphy hesitated for a moment before responding.

"I think that's a personal matter." He said.

"Wow. It means there are a whole lot of them. What do I mean to you then?" Megan questioned and folded her arms, looking annoyed.

Alpha Murphy scoffed and got up from the bed, he walked into the bathroom and turned on the shower.

"I'm still waiting for an answer, Murphy," Megan said, from the bedroom.

Alpha Murphy ignored her and quietly took his bath. After he was done, he walked back to the bedroom to see Mega lying stark naked on the bed.

"Get dressed, Megan." He said.

"You're scared you'd want me again, right? I don't mind going down with you again tonight, but you gotta answer my question first." She said.

Alpha Murphy stared at her, wondering if she had eaten a whole pack of audacity and guts.

"What was your question again?" He asked.

"Really? I asked the number of the human girls you've mated with!" Megan replied in a strained voice.

"Yeah, and I said it is a personal matter. It is none of your business Megan. It doesn't matter if they were ten, or twenty, or fifty, or a hundred, or even a million. You have no right to question me." Alpha Murphy said.

"Of course, it matters to me. I give you everything you ask for. Every single thing and I still will, because I love you.." Megan was saying, but Alpha Murphy laughed.

"Megan, don't you think you're overestimating yourself? You don't mean shit to me. You're only satisfying my needs and I am going to repay you by making you my Luna, which is more than enough payment. Now, you shouldn't think you're better than anyone I mate with, be it werewolf, or human, because you're no different than them." He said, putting her in her place.

Megan placed her hands on her chest to show she was hurt.

"Oh, Goddess." She muttered.

She immediately got down from the bed and picked up her clothes which had been thrown in different corners of the bedroom. She wore it and picked up her purse to leave.

"And where do you think you are going to?" Alpha Murphy asked.

"I mean nothing to you, so I'm leaving." She said.

Alpha Murphy chuckled and pulled her to himself.

"Come here. Why are you leaving so soon? It's 2 am." He said and began to kiss her.

Megan felt herself melting in his arms, and she kissed him back.

Alpha Murphy slowly tried to take Megan's clothes off, but she stopped him.

"You can't trick me. I'm leaving." She said and walked out of the room.

Alpha Murphy just watched her as she left, without even saying a word to her.

Who cares about her anyway?

Sassy finally woke up the next morning. She was in bad shape and could barely walk.

She had to text Delight, to let her know about her condition.

At noon, Sassy finally felt a little better. She decided to go do something she had never planned on doing. She went to see Alpha Murphy.

On getting to his mansion, she met Beta Hogan and she was told to wait in the hallway.

Beta Hogan went to the Alpha's office to let him know about Sassy's presence.

Alpha Murphy looked displeased to hear about it.

He had already assumed she was nearby because his wolf had become excited. But confirming it made him unhappy.

"What the hell does she want?" He asked.

"How would I know? I'm not her mate." Beta Hogan said.

"Oh shit. Can she just stay the fuck away from me?"

"Well, she's your mate, and she doesn't even like you. Her presence might mean something else maybe something related to the coffee shop." Beta Hogan suggested.

"Look, I don't care. She should leave. I'm not coming down to meet her, okay?" Alpha Murphy said.

"I think you should. You said you were going to reject her, she probably wants to reject you too. So, just go down and make things easier for the both of you." Beta Hogan suggested again.

Alpha Murphy rolled his eyes and sighed heavily.

"You love acting like you're all smart. Go back to the blonde girl and tell her I won't be coming down to see her because I don't want to. And, my word is final." Alpha Murphy said, with a tone of authority.

Beta Hogan bowed and walked out of the office and back to the hallway.

Sassy looked around with a desperate look on her face.

"I can't see him anywhere around here, where is he?" She asked.

"I'm sorry Sassy, but the Alpha won't be coming down to see you." Beta Hogan said politely.

"And why is that?" Sassy asked.

"For reasons best known to him." Beta Hogan said.

Sassy gave a fake smile and nodded her head.

"Tell him I'm not leaving until he comes down here." She said.

"Please you will have to leave. This is an official building. We don't want you creating a nuisance here." Beta Hogan said.

"Okay, fine. I'll leave." She muttered.

Beta Hogan turned and walked back to Alpha Murphy's office.

Sassy watched him and saw the office he went to.

She waited for him to go out of the office, and then she ran towards the office...
