Not wanting to waste any more time, I quickly crawled out of the blanket and walked over to Gerard who was sitting at the end of the bed, and touched his hand gently, "I need to be stronger. Please hurt me." I pleaded like a puppy asking to be fed.

He dismissed my hand and stood up, walking towards the door. All he did was lock the door and then walk back towards me with slow but sure steps. His hand moved to remove the watch from around his wrist without taking his eyes off me.
