Chapter Six: Lacey

The ringing of my cell phone woke me the following day, both ringing and vibrating right there on top of the nightstand. Still half asleep, I reached across the bed for my phone and pressed it to my ear, eyes still closed as drool dribbled a bit from the side of my mouth.

Gross.
