The story is interesting but lacks some background details, like how did Ellie get to live vy herself while her brother is deployed? Children's services would step in. The lack of interaction between her and Aiden is odd too. I mean, he's her brother's friend so why wouldn't he notice her lack of friends or reclusive behavior? Looking forward to some resolution in final chapters.
