Chapter Fifty

Cat walked down the hall to the kitchen and made a pot of coffee. Carrying a cup of it, she went out to the main room and sat at a table to watch the sunlight filling the room.

A few minutes later, another set of footsteps could be heard in the hall. Cat had to smile when she heard them.
