Chapter 5 Little Elena..

Oh my goodness! Did I just get caught sneaking around?!
I’d have disappeared if I had the power to because just thinking of the man behind me…
Can the ground just open up and swallow me?!
“I asked a question, little Elena…”
His low growl sounded again, jolting me out of my dismay. I finally managed to turn around, but with my head bowed low.
I let out a soft chuckle. “Ahh! This—I—“
“Look up!”
My body straightened uncontrollably. My head immediately followed his order, raising up, and finally, my eyes met those dark, cold eyes of his, the ones I would forever remember.
The second my eyes met his, my mind entered into a daze, my body stiffened unconsciously, and my head went blank.

As dark as darkness itself, cold but powerful like the king he is. Unknowingly, I entered into the world of the unknown, a world that belongs to him alone.
My soul followed, enchanting my spirit and making my willing body and heart submit.

My mind began to conjure scenes in my head.
Myself replaced the lady I had seen on the bed, my legs tied up separately, my wrists tied tightly, my lips parted with something stuffed in them, and him…?
In his hand was a whip raised high, and when it hit my body, my choked mouth let out whimpers, my body wiggling and my eyes pleading for more.
I could feel no pain. All I could feel was delight, desire, extreme ecstasy, and all I could see was him, the man I craved, the man I can’t give up on, the man whom I’m ready to give it all for.

A voice so cold it sent shivers down my spine pierced through my ears and went straight to my head, snapping me out of my crazy imagination and bringing me out of the world his enchanting cold eyes had drawn me into.
My eyes immediately widened after realizing what I had been thinking.
“What the hell is wrong with you, Elena! Can’t you wait for things to settle down before thinking of all this? How can you get him if you keep losing control of your mind every time he’s near you?! Snap out of it!”
With my chest still heaving after scolding myself, I raised my head to look at the man whose presence can never be ignored, and there he stood like a god.
His hair, which had grown a little longer, was brushed to the back, and a few strands were resting on his face, which had beaded with sweat. I folded my fist to stop myself from moving that hair away from his Greek-like face.
My eyes couldn’t help roaming down his heavenly built body and… fuck! So powerful!
“Are you done? When you’re done, scram from here immediately!”
His voice sounded, snapping me out again, and that made me remember my main concern.
My lips parted, calling out loudly and urgently, “Marcus!”
My throat rolled when those eyes settled on me impatiently, as if waiting for me to go ahead with my questions so he could continue whatever he was doing, and at the thought of what he was doing, venom flashed across my eyes.
After taking a deep breath, I continued, “My father… Where-Where is he? Did you stop him from going? Do you know what’s happening or where he is going?!” I found myself asking so many questions when it came to my father.
Finally, Marcus’s eyes settled on me. He continued to look at me for a while, and only when I was almost collapsing from the pressure did he take his eyes away. His eyes moved to the inside of the room, and he let out a sigh before turning around rapidly, then walking out while throwing an order at the same time,
“Follow me!”
“You’ll stay here till your father comes back. Do you have any objections?”
I stood in front of the powerful Alpha with a high rank, but this time, I felt no pressure as my mind had long been consumed with the fear of losing my father.
My head was bowed in deep thought.
“Can you tell me what is going on? Where is my father? Why did he ask me to stay with you? Does it have something to do with me? Is he in danger?” My fist clutched my dress nervously, my eyes turning red with worry as I awaited a response from him.
Alpha Marcus looked at me, his eyes indifferent as he spoke. “Yes, your father is in a bit of trouble, and he asked for you to live here to keep you safe. Your father created something very attractive, and it is in hot demand by some Alphas.” He suddenly paused, his eyes closing, and his hand on the armrest of the chair he was sitting in tightened, making me confused.
I moved toward him in worry as he was acting strangely, but the moment I walked closer to him, his eyes snapped open, and his dark eyes glared at me, stopping me from coming any closer.
I watched as his Adam’s apple rolled, but then he continued his explanation, which finally caught my attention.
“Don’t ask what he created. I won’t tell you. But your father is fine as long as you’re okay. And…”
My eyes blurred at the thought that my father might be in danger.
Now I know… I know why he had called me back home immediately, why he had asked me to prepare just two days after returning to the country after three years of studying abroad. Now I know why he wasn’t at ease while driving here.
That’s because my Beta father, one of the greatest scientists, created something attractive and is wanted by all.

“…I won’t let them harm your father!”
The promise filled me with delight. A smile appeared on my face.

The man who had just made that declaration now sat weakly on the chair. His heavy pink pheromones leaked out, and his bloodshot eyes stared at me like an uncontrollable beast.
“You—” My eyes went wide in shock.
“You’re having your rut?!” I exclaimed, running toward him, but he pushed me away roughly.
“Get out! Lock yourself inside your room and don’t come out until I say so! Now, go!!”
