Please STOP WITH "!" after ending most of sentences. And what for all of them call her "baby"? It's a little to much, I understand that she is theirs Sister I get that but still. Slow down on the events a bit, after the surgery the girl should be in bed and recovering, but suddenly she has a heart attack and has to go to school? Like the book🫠

I do love this story however....I feel we are seeing more of the brother's emotions than the parents. As a parent I know there is no way in HELL I would not be the first to rush to my baby girl after she was kidnapped and abused for 12 years. The brothers wouldnt get a chance over my husband and I. I would be the one cuddling her to sleep...me...her mommy.

I love this book genre of abused sister finds Mafia family, but my problem is always how fast paced it is. You don't get past years and years of trauma in a few weeks, ler alone a few days. MC hasn't even been with them 2 days and is already feeling comfortable around them and safe and already with a guy...not hating the story or anything but realistically it would take a few weeks at least before she feels comfortable around her family, even if she feels a strange sense of comfort and security.
